Together Again 2022
David and Denise started this company in 2011. They donated gift boxes to family, friends, and strangers that needed encouragement through a challenging time. On September 29, 2015, after a 19 1/2 year battle with brain cancer, Denise was called home.

In 2017, in Denise's memory, David and I “took SGOK off the shelf”. We partnered with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute and Share the Care, Inc., and we have been donating monthly gift boxes for them to distribute since February of 2017.

On June 6th, 2022, David's journey here came to an end. I have no doubt he and Denise are together again!

Our Story
Why did we choose seven?
Seven days in a week, Chemotherapy can 'take hold' of you for about seven days the "lucky number 7," there are seven miracles by Jesus noted in the Book of John, Nolan Ryan threw seven no-hitters in baseball. It just felt right!
Why did I start this company?
My lovely wife Denise had been fighting brain cancer since 1996. Through bouts of surgery, radiation and chemotherapy she always maintained a caring determination for those in a similar circumstance. We have made many "boxes," as they came to be known, for our friends. From new "medical challenges" to "recurring battles,", and from "I feel blue" to "thank you," they have brought daily uplifting smiles to those who needed it most.
In 2015 Denise’s journey came to an end. I move this company forward in her memory.
In 2007 our wonderful daughter Jennifer was also diagnosed with a brain tumor. She shows the same spirit as her mother, and she continues to send "boxes" to others in need. Jennifer, "Peanut", is our “Resident Cancer Warrior” and continues to add special touches to these boxes.
